Add/Edit Lead Route
The Lead Route Editor allows you to create or modify lead routing rules for a selected site.
View Lead Routes Page and click the Admin dropdown menu (represented by a gear icon) next to a lead route, then select Edit or click the Create Lead Route button to add a new lead route
Lead Type
- Description: Determines the type of lead this rule will apply to.
- Options:
- All Leads: The rule applies to all incoming leads.
- Contact Form: The rule applies specifically to leads from contact forms.
- Listing Request: The rule applies specifically to leads requesting information about a property.
- Saved Search: The rule applies specifically to leads from saved search alerts.
- Listing View: The rule applies to leads generated from viewing a listing.
Routing Type
- Description: Defines how the lead will be assigned. This is a required field.
- Options:
- Default: Assigns the lead to the default user for the site.
- User: Assigns the lead to a specific user.
- Email: Sends the lead to one or more email addresses.
- Round Robin: Distributes leads evenly among a list of users.
Select User
- Description: This field is visible when Routing Type is set to "User". It allows you to search for and select a specific user to assign the lead to.
- Note: The list of available users includes all site administrators.
Send To Email Addresses
- Description: This field is visible when Routing Type is set to "Email". Enter one or more email addresses to which the lead will be sent.
- Note: Multiple email addresses can be added, separated by commas.
Select User(s)
- Description: This field is visible when Routing Type is set to "Round Robin". Select the users who will be part of the round-robin distribution.
- Note: The list includes all site administrators. Leads will be assigned to these users in a rotating sequence.
Conditions
- Description: Filters which leads are affected by this rule. You can specify one or more conditions to match lead data. If a lead meets at least one condition, the rule is applied.
- Format: Enter one condition per line. Each condition must follow the format
field=value
. Multiple values for a single field can be separated by commas, e.g.,Property Agent Name=First Last
