Site Settings

This page allows you to add a new site or edit an existing site. Use the forms to configure various aspects of your real estate website, including site details, data feed connections, and content overrides.

View Sites Page and click Edit Settings on an existing site or Add New Site to see this form.

General Settings

This section contains the core information for your website.

LabelDescription
Site NameThis name is used for the site's subdomain, which will be in the format your-site-name.peakidxsites.com. It can only contain lowercase letters and hyphens and must not begin or end with a hyphen.
Default Lead Assignment UserThe default user to assign leads to for this site.
Contact PhoneThe contact phone number for the site.
Company NameThe name of your company, which will appear in the site's footer.
Time ZoneSets the time zone for the site.
Select Website TypeChoose between Hosted by PeakIDX or a site that uses the Wordpress Plugin.
Wordpress DomainIf using the Wordpress Plugin, enter the domain where the plugin is installed (e.g., https://www.your-wordpress-site.com).
Wordpress Prefix SlugThe URL path that PeakIDX will use to proxy requests on your Wordpress site (e.g., /real-estate/). The slug must start and end with a forward slash.

Connect a Data Feed

This section is for linking your site to a REALTOR® Association data feed. This is a critical step for displaying MLS listings on your site.

MLS AssociationA dropdown list of available MLS associations. If your association isn't listed, select "Not Listed" and type the name in the field below.
If not listed, type your REALTOR®'s Association belowUse this field if your MLS association is not in the dropdown list.

Note: For new sites, you can choose a data feed. For existing sites, you must contact support to change it.

Content Override Options

This section allows you to customize the default text for key pages on your site. Leave a field blank to use the system's default content.

Thank You Page Title & BodyOverrides the default title and body text for the page displayed after a user submits a form.
Privacy Policy Page Title & BodyOverrides the default title and body text for the Privacy Policy page.
Terms of Use Page Title & BodyOverrides the default title and body text for the Terms of Use page.

Forced Registration Options

By default, users can search the site and view listings without registering. If you want to force users to register to continue their search, you can enable those options here.

Forced Registration ModeIf you select "Hard Capture", users will not be able to close the popup window without registering. If you select "Soft Capture", users can close the popup and continue searching, but they will see the popup again after hitting the limit again. Selecting "No Forced Registration" will disable forced registration. No Forced Registration
Listing View LimitThe number of listing detail pages a user can view before they are asked to register. You may want to start with 5 and adjust based on your needs.
Forced Registration Popup TitleThe title text displayed in the forced registration popup.
Forced Registration Popup BodyThe body text displayed in the forced registration popup.
